About Placer County Sheriff's Council
The Placer County Sheriff's Council was formed in 2004 by local citizens seeking ways to help the Sheriff's
Office maintain their current efficiency, improve their effectiveness in the short term and seek innovative solutions to the increasingly complex problems faced by the men and women of law enforcement.
The Council aims to help fill the gap between the public's need for increasing law enforcement services and tightening county budgets.
While our efforts are focused on providing specialized equipment and supplies, we are also involved in education and training.
The Sheriff's Council is committed to raising funds to support the mission of the Sheriff's Department, helping to obtain necessities that budget strapped public agencies cannot afford-safety equipment needed to protect us and themselves, the people who lay their lives on the line every day for us.
The Placer County Sheriff's Council is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Tax ID number 68-0590713.
